Amarone Valpolicella Cl. Sup. 1978 75 cl. Bertani
Description| Peck's wine collection could not miss out on this Amarone della Valpolicella by Bertain, one of the best traditional Italian wines. Bertani's Amarone is a classic wine, which has an outstanding ability to remain fresh over time. It is made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes selected on the vine and naturally dried on special racks (the "arele"). The wine is refined for at least five years in oak barrels, it has a dense garnet colour and exudes the typical Amarone notes: preserved and distilled maraschino, red and black cherries, with extremely well-balanced hints of spice. It is amazingly, complex, rounded and persistent, the perfect meditation wine or ideal served with hearty meat dishes or seasoned cheeses. Peck recommends a serving temperature of 20 °C
