Ch. Lafite Rothschild 1999 75 cl.
Description| In Peck's wine cellar you can find unique wines that tell the history of winemaking. A medieval dominion in Lafite already registered in the XIV century; Jacques de Ségur had the Vineyard planted in Lafite from 1670 and the first few years of the following decade, but it was only after 1716 that Marquis Nicolas-Alexandre de Ségur consolidated the reputation of these wines, presenting them at the Court of Versailles. After three centuries of outstanding history, the Château Lafite Rothschild's wine, con its marvellous almond and violet nose, no longer needs any form of presentation. Peck recommends this wine to those who want to experience the ancient soul of a great Bordeaux.
