Description| Peck is always searching for that extra touch of excellence. Château Rieussec is one of the most renowned Sauternes. It is produced from 95% Sémillon, 2% Muscadelle and 3% Sauvignon 3%; it ages in oak barrels for 18-26 months according to the year (but it is not produced every year). The year 1999 was distinguished by rather early harvest of high concentrate grapes; the colour. Château Rieussec 1999 is a golden yellow colour with rosy reflections; Peck recommends it for its complex bouquet and delicious flavour with hints of liquorice.
