Description| Peck considers the Brut Prémière to be Maison Paillard's flagship wine. This is an excellent year: to reach this objective the assemblage consists in 20-50% reserve wines. The bottles rest for 3 years in the cellar before dégorgement. It is a pure and authentic Brut with little dosage It is a straw-yellow colour and has a fine mousse, the first aromas reveal the Chardonnay citrus fruits, followed by the red fruits of the Pinot Noir, and finally the candied and exotic fruits of the Pinot Meunier. It is vibrant on the palate, with almond and toasted bread aromas, and a wonderful finish of blueberry, cherry, fig and blackcurrant gelatines. It is round without being heavy and has a most distinct finish.
