Description| Berlucchi produces this top quality, important Brut spumante that Peck highly recommends served with aperitifs and as a 'complete meal' wine. Franciacorta '61 Brut DOCG. is made from Chardonnay grapes and small amount (10-15%) of Pinot Noir grapes. The product does not carry its year as the Cuvée uses a portion of "vins de réserve" belonging to different previous years: the name Franciacorta '61 is used in honour of the year in which Franco Ziliani, Guido Berlucchi and Giorgio Lanciani created the first classic Franciacorta method.
