Hermitage B. Chante Alouette 1998 75 cl. Chapoutier

Hermitage B. Chante Alouette 1998 75 cl. Chapoutier
Description
In Peck's wine cellar you can find unique wines that tell the history of winemaking. The Romans already appreciated the Hermitage wines but it is in the XVII century that the name becomes famous, in memory of a cavalier who, tired from his crusades abroad, retired in hermitage to the hills. Chapoutier's Chante Alouette is made from Marsanne grapes; it is a brilliant golden green colour, it exudes complex aromas of quince apples, honey, ginger, acacia flowers and lime blossom. It has fresh. almondy and elegant on the palate. Peck recommends serving it with foie gras, fish or white meats with light sauces, slightly spicy curry dishes and marble cheeses.
