Description| One of the secrets of this most outstanding Franciacorta wine is revealed in its name. The word Satèn in fact evokes the idea of silk, and its amazing light weave and fine fabrics. It was produced for the first time in 1980, and is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc grapes only, with a lower dosage of "prise de mousse" than normal, which creates a Franciacorta with a fine foam which is as soft as "cream". It has an extra-fine and delicate perfume and a particularly soave taste.
