Cloudy Bay's Savignon is a wine with vibrant aromatic notes and a most elegant structure; 2007 is characterised by notes of ripe peaches, passion fruit, mango and lemon, with a finish of fresh fennel and Pastis. It is fresh, rich and succulent on the palate. Peck recommends serving it with delicate and aromatic fish courses and dishes rich in fresh herbs.
