Guado al Tasso 2005 1,5 lt. Antinori
Description| Antinori's finest wines occupy a most important place in Peck's wine cellar. Guado al Tasso is a Bolgheri DOC Superiore, produced from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Syrah and other varieties of red grapes. This wine takes its name from a most curious circumstance: at Tenuta Guado al Tasso, located in Maremma, it is possible to observe badgers (tasso) crossing the fords (gaudo) of local streams and rivers. Guado al Tasso was produced for the very first time in 1990. This year's harvest was characterised by perfectly mature and healthy grapes which produced a most intense ruby-red wine. It has a most fragrant and fine nose, with light hints of red fruit followed by more intense aromas of chocolate and liquorice. The tannin is velvety and thick on the palate, whilst the after-taste exudes chocolate, blackcurrant and light vanilla notes. This wine is strong flavoured and most persistent. | | | Country | Italia | | Region | Toscana | | Content | 1,5 lt. | | Gross Weight | 3.00 Kg | | Produced by | Antinori | | Type | Vino rosso | | Year | 2005 | | Shipping in Japan | Yes | | Shipping in USA | No | | Shipping in China | Yes |
