Romanee Conti 2004 75 cl. Romanee Conti

Romanee Conti 2004 75 cl. Romanee Conti
Description
In Peck's wine cellar you will find wines that tell legendary stories. The Domaine de la Romanée Conti owns 25 hectares of vineyards mainly located in the grands crus of the Côte de Beaune (Montrachet) and Côte de Nuits (Romanée Conti, Echezeaux, Grands Echezeaux, Romanée Saint Vivant, La Tache, Richebourg). The core philosophy of the Domaine is its respect for the terroir, considered to be the driving force behind all activities, and respect for the tradition of quality, without slighting technical innovation. This Domaine practices bio-dynamic and organic agricultural farming; horses have been reintroduced to work certain parcels of land, for quality reasons not from a folklore aspect. The manual selection of the grapes, during the summer and the harvest period, is considered to be a mission, as the Domaine firmly believes in the saying that ??a great wine is made on the vine??, without undermining the outstanding work done in the cellars. The grand cru "La Romanée Conti" parcel measures 1,8050 hectares and has not changed an inch since 1580. All the wines are marketed in mixed cases which contain only one bottle of "La Romanée Conti" of which only 6,000 bottles are produced a year. There are no bottles of "La Romanée Conti" dated from 1946 to 1951. Peck recommends "La Romanée Conti" to those who wish to experience the unforgettable emotion of a spherical, potent profoundly smooth wine
