Description| Antinori's finest wines occupy a most important place in Peck's wine cellar. Solaia is a 10 hectare Vineyard at the Tenuta Tignanello. Solaia is only produced in exceptionally good years with a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 20% Sangiovese. The 1997 vintage Solaia is a fruity and complex wine; it has a solid and well-balanced structure, with soft tannins and a persistent finish. It shows a highly unmistakeable varietal character which still however preserves its strong territorial identity.
