| Antinori's finest wines occupy a most important place in Peck's wine cellar. Solaia is a 10 hectare Vineyard at the Tenuta Tignanello. Solaia is only produced in exceptionally good years with a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 20% Sangiovese. The 2003 vintage Solaia is an endless symphony of a follow on of aromatic notes; it exudes black pepper, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, plums and distilled fruit. The tannins are imposing but elegant; it is a well-balanced and remarkably persistent wine with a liquorice and coffee finish.
