Description| Allegrini's La Poja is a single-variety wine, complex, full-bodied with an intense ruby-red colour and a perfume of wild blackberries and spices; it is entirely made from Corvina grapes - the most representative Valpollicella vine - grown at the historical La Grola vineyard, in the area called La Poja which has the perfect terroir for these grapes.
Peck recommends serving this wine with roasted red meats, game dishes, well-seasoned cheeses, but also with white and black truffle dishes. The recommended serving temperature is °C and the bottle should be opened an hour in advance to allow the wine to breathe.
