Strawberry tree is a shrub typical of the Mediterranean area, particularly diffused in Sardinia and esteemed by those beekeepers, who want to produce honey with unique characteristics thanks to the taste, fragrance and organoleptic qualities.
Rapid in the crystallisation, it is soft and homogeneous, with an amber colour with hazelnut touches after the crystallisation, and with a fragrance resembling heather and coffee, characteristic that foretells a taste sweet at the beginning, yet bitter going on tasting it.
