Description

Antinori's finest wines occupy a most important place in Peck's wine cellar. Tignanello is only produced during the best years and is made only from grapes harvested at the Tenuta Tignanello vineyard. This was the first Sangiovese to be refined in barriques and the first modern red wine to be assembled with non-traditional varieties, such as Cabernet; this blend has been the same since 1982. The 2003 Tiganello is fruity and complex; it shows excellent structure on the palate; it is well-balanced with soft tannins and a persistent finish.
