The new Wine Sessions 2017 series starts with the Pietradolce canteen that has been founded in 2005 in Sollichiata on the north side of the Etna with a surface of 11 hectares.
The soils of the vineyards are sandy due to its territorial structure composed of mineral elements that grant the wines with unique features.
The wines are exclusively autochthonous (Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio e Carricante) and they are bred in traditional little-tree shape.
The Sicilian canteen has already received prestigious awards for its excellents products, among these the wine Vigna Barbagalli won the “3 Bicchieri Gambero Rosso”award consecutively from 2014 to 2017.
