Harvested exclusively by hand in the city of Maldon, in England, this sea salt is characterised by a distinctive shape of flakes, which makes it melt more slowly in the mouth, providing a unique crunchiness to dishes that need it the most. In this particular variant smoked with oak wood, it develops a slightly brownish colouring and a pleasant piquant aftertaste, which makes it perfect to accompany white meats and baked fish.
