From September 2016 on, Peck welcomes Piccolo Peck, a gastronomic café located in the heart of via Spadari shop modelled after the most distinctive features of Peck's soul. With its mood reminding a Viennese café of the 30s, Piccolo Peck recalls the origins of the historical shop founded in 1883. A place where the house best products are served in an unprecedented informal style, focused on conviviality and sharing; here, people will taste a selection of the delicacies coming from the gastronomy counter, Peck's iconic dishes (such as the renowned Russian salad and the unmissable meat paté), together with cheese and cold-cuts tastings, specialities coming from all Italy and gourmet dishes suitable for both a vegan and a gluten-free diet. The offer highlights the artisan production of via Spadari's labs and kitchens, from bresaola di punta d'anca to salami of the house, from cow milk mozzarella to cold veal in tuna sauce, and is accompanied by a careful selection of wines, sparkling wines, distillates, and cocktails.
The café is open all day long, from breakfast to the shop's closing time. It is possible to stop by for a coffee or a precious tea accompanied by a handmade brioche, a slice of pie or of panettone with mascarpone sauce, to have a quick lunch-break or to indulge oneself with a special after-work aperitif. A concept aimed at attracting both passionate gourmands and young people willing to experience true taste in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
